Town Councilman John McMeekin, with 469 votes, won the mayoral election over Nocola Hemphill who received 265 votes.
In the town council race, District 2 Councilwoman, Janice Bartell was unopposed and took 128 votes. There was one write-in.
James Jae Burroughs, ran for District 4 and was unopposed. This will be Mr. Burroughs first term on town council with 240 votes. There were 5 write-ins for that seat.
