There is a 3% convenience fee for using the online utility bill payment service. The convenience fee is charged by the website company and the Town of Winnsboro receives no compensation from this fee.
To avoid the convenience fees customers are encouraged to mail in a check, pay in person by debit card, or check with your financial institution to see if they offer a bill pay feature that will mail out a payment at no additional charge.
This fee is not a new fee, but in the past few years the Town was absorbing the cost improperly.
