Water Plant Operator, Town of Winnsboro
Employee Status: Full Time
Job Duties:
- Under regular supervision, operates the water filtration plant.
- Follows applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety.
- Maintains plant equipment and systems.
- Performs related work as required.
- Reports to the Water Plant Director.
Minimum Training and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by formal training
- Specialized advanced training in water filtration plant operations
- Two years of experience in plant operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Must possess Class “C” Water Treatment Operator Certification.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Willing to train.
Hours of Work: 12 hour shifts 6 A.M. – 6 P.M.
Deadline: Until Filled
Hiring Pay Range: $18.00
Experienced Operators: $22.50-$30.00 per hour (Dependent on Qualifications)
